Our 2008 calendar is available. It features 1967 High School Club pictures. There is ample space for noting meetings and activities. This would make a great Christmas gift for family and friends with a connection to West Monroe. The price is only $5.50 with tax.

The Society is pleased to announce that the history of West Monroe, originally published 15 years ago is once again available for sale. This book has 112 pages, of pictures and text and includes a new name index to make it easy to find people. While the book is almost identical to the original, it has been completely redone using the latest electronic publishing techniques. The text is sharper and the pictures have been digitally enhanced. $22.50

A story of love, courage, love, hardship, love, friendship-an enduring one between Evelyn Fuller Mantle and Eva Fuller Reymore, cousins who grew up in Central NY, Evalyn in Cicero and Eva on Hellinger Road in West Monroe. Eva attended the Whig Hill School .

Evelyn’s parents left to homestead in Colorado , Eva’s stayed here. Because Eva saved all the correspondence between them, Queeda, Evelyn’s daughter was able to write this story of the Mantle Family, who lived through many hardships in what is now the Dinosaur Park area of NW Colorado, near Utah .
